Hello everyone, today we talk about toxic relationships in campus.
In all human endeavours it is said that life is better
shared. Everyone needs someone close to share emotional relationships
with. It is the field that gets worked
on most to attain a healthy and mutual togetherness. Still some people find
themselves in abusive relationships.
Not to say that only the weak are victims of this. Even
couples that started off as the strongest bonds find themselves torn down to
these toxic relationships.so holding on to toxic relationships at the end brings
harm or even death.it is mostly seen in campuses where you get one student
killing the other in the name of he cheated or did this and that.

| student stabbed by ex lover Standard Media |
On 14th April 2019, at the Pwani University, a student was allegedly stabbed several times by his ex-lover and left fighting for her life at Kilifi County Hospital student. It is said that the ex-lover travelled
all the way to demand answers as to why Naomi returning Ksh 3200 he had sent her.
Why try killing your ex-lover for re-sending back your money???A little mistake
that affects the mind-set.
In an article posted by standard media, “The rush for
getting into a relationship among campus students makes one fall in love with a
stranger ”a person who is not into the relationship hence taking advantage of
the one who fell in love. This type of relationship doesn’t work out and many
at times one partner is being abused, either physically or emotionally but they
can't leave.Sometimes it's due to fear of losing someone they love so much, or
maybe because of what other people would think. Other times it’s because of co-dependency;
where they both really hurt each other but they love each other and can't leave
each other because they depend on one another.
How do you overcome this toxic relationships? First you have
to decide on your decision.is it love or lust? Decision made what next? Stick
to it. Know someone associate yourself with him or her and get to know each other.
If he or she is toxic, stay away! Surround yourself with positivity and control
yourself. That way you will be able to stay away from toxic relationships. Love
the campus way…take care
That's for today. Thank you☝

ReplyDeleteAt the end of the day I would emphasis on the fact that someone should know if what he or she is feelin is love or lust jus to play safe...
ReplyDeleteIt's just wise not to rush things... Especially for us.. the youth... These things come slow.. and i really don't think there's need ti rush inti relationships.. especially if they turn out toxic... ✨✨
ReplyDeleteHonestly i feel like we are just too young to make ourselves feel so old. If a relationship is mentally exhausting, that's just the beginning of a toxic one.
ReplyDeleteFalling in love with a stranger is one huge step thus understanding love it self needs patience 💯
ReplyDeleteYou truly have captured all dynamics...Great article and well said buddy
ReplyDeleteI think people fall in love so hard with their significant other when they are in a relationship and forgert to care about themselves and put themselves first and when the significant othet notices that they can easily take advantage of the other when he or she is not in love that deep so when the other realizes it is usually to late and ther have been used and most of them do not see the reason for them to live or the ex partner to live thus leading to deaths
ReplyDeleteAmazing work

ReplyDeleteIndeed its saddening that most of the youths are in toxic relationship when asked why they say its love that keeps them their not knowing that they are hurting,
ReplyDeleteThanks Mwinyi for bringing this topic back indeed it has to be discussed in details.
